We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Field Engineer to deliver installation, maintenance and technical support across our customer sites.

The role will involve structured cabling, network and communications installations, hardware deployment, cabinet and rack work, connectivity fault-finding, site surveys and project installations. You’ll work with switches, wireless access points, communications equipment and wider IT infrastructure while ensuring work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.

Proven cabling experience is a core requirement, including cable routing, termination, patching, labelling, testing and fault-finding. You’ll also need a good understanding of networking fundamentals and be confident using tools, ladders and access equipment.

Experience with fibre installation and testing, Cat6A, VoIP systems, Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, UniFi, Sophos or cable certification equipment would be advantageous. Relevant qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, ECS/CSCS or cabling certifications are also desirable.

You’ll be expected to continue developing through ongoing technical, product, cabling and health & safety training.
